Platform Guide · Chapter 9

Notifications

A unified service writes an in-app notification and, for important events, also sends a transactional email. Same-day de-duplication prevents repeats, and delivery runs off the request path so a slow mail server never blocks a user action.

In this guide

In-app notifications

  • Every notable event creates an in-app notification with read / unread state and an unread count.
  • Mark-one and mark-all-read; delivered in real time over sockets.
  • Same-day de-duplication prevents repeat notifications of the same type in a workspace.

Email — credits & billing

  • Credits low / exhausted (standard and generation), and add-on credits added.
  • Payment succeeded / failed / recovered, and a final grace-period notice.

Email — plan, workspace & workflows

  • Plan expired, upgraded, downgraded, and manual-term expiry reminders (user and admin).
  • Workspace: member joined / removed, role changed, invitation.
  • Workflow execution failed; automations paused (plan expiry / freeze) and restored.

Email — admin guardrails

  • Platform-limit reached / warning, usage anomaly, and fail-open spike alerts to operators.
