Help Bot
A natively-integrated AI support assistant, built on the same chat, workflow, and knowledge-base infrastructure as the rest of the product — not a third-party widget. It reuses the existing chat service, socket streaming, and vector knowledge base, so it needs no new infrastructure.
In this guide
Architecture
- A single Help Assistant agent is the only entry point; it never answers directly — all knowledge and logic live in workflows.
- Help conversations are stored in an internal system workspace, isolated from user workspaces.
- A vector knowledge base is pre-loaded with documentation per topic, so answers are grounded in real platform docs.
Intent routing
- The agent classifies each message's intent and routes to the matching topic workflow.
- If intent is ambiguous, it asks one clarifying question before routing.
- If no workflow matches, it falls back to the General Help workflow rather than claiming it cannot help.
Topic workflows
- Workflow Builder Help · Platform Features Guide · Service Setup & Configuration · Data & AI Features Help — knowledge-base topics.
- Troubleshooting & Errors and Account & Settings Help — combine documentation with live, read-only context such as recent run status or user role.
- Onboarding & Getting Started · General Help & Fallback — round out the set.
Safety
- Strictly read-only — the assistant can read context but never creates, edits, or deletes anything.
- Never exposes internal workflow steps, node names, or raw stack traces; asks for an error code before troubleshooting.
- Responses stream in real time over the existing socket layer.
